Glencalvie challenge

The Fourth Glencalvie Challenge takes place on Saturday 22nd May 2010

The Glencalvie Challenge is an exciting charity fundraising event for walkers, runners or bikers over seventeen and a half miles of estate roads through mountainous terrain from Black Bridge in Ross-shire to Glencalvie Lodge in Sutherland.

Through the sponsorship of individuals and teams of Rotarians, the event will raise money for the Rotary Club of Inverness Culloden’s charity trust fund and and it’s preferred charities which will be nominated later this year. Teams of 4 plus can nominate and raise funds for their own charities with 50% of what they raise being paid directly to the charity of their own choice.

The Challenge starts at the Tulloch Caledonian Thistle Stadium in Inverness where coaches and a bike lorry will ferry participants to the start at Black Bridge.

The Glencalvie Quaich will be awarded to the fastest male and female runner and biker and Rotary team. All participants will receive a Glencalvie Challenge medal.

Entry forms will shortly be available for download. For more information please call 01463 831287
