The 2007 Glencalvie Challenge is now over and we look forward to the next Glencalvie Challenge on 10th May 2008.
To all who took part, congratulations and well done to all. Despite the inclement weather you have raised just over £10,500 for our charities; Dundonnell Mountain Rescue Team, who played a vital part in ensuring your safety on the day. British Red Cross whose services, thankfully, were not required but were, never the less on standby. CLIC Sargent the children's cancer charity and our own Rotary charities will all benefit from your efforts.
We also thank our many sponsors, without whose financial support the event could not have taken place.
The fastest male runner was Matt McKinney from California and the fastest female runner was Karen McLeod from Inverness. The quickest biker was Simon Walton from Aberdeen and the quickest female biker was Peta Law from Inverness. The fastest walkers completed the route in just over 4 hours and 10 minutes.
