Safety of all is the prime concern of the organisers, the Rotary Club of Inverness Culloden. The Dundonnell Mountain Rescue Team will provide a radio network covering the route so that communications in this mountainous area are first rate and team members will be on hand to help if required. The Red Cross will also be on stand-by should the need arise. A safety vehicle will follow the walkers to pick up any stragglers

The walking is all on a good standard of landrover track and is very straight forward. We hope the weather will be kind to us but please be aware that you will be walking in a mountainous environment and even in May the weather can change very quickly so walking boots should be worn and waterproofs carried.

Although water will be available en route sufficient food and drinks should be carried to ensure your personal comfort.

A risk assessment has been carried out and all aspects of Health and Safety are complied with.
